The Passion- Endeavor for Excellence

Everyone dreams to win but there are not many who wish to try to win. Among these not-so many, some give up after few attempts while some keep trying. Trying is not at all about winning only but it’s more or less related to self-satisfaction and inner delight.
I was interested in music ever since I feel my existence on earth. This interest gradually turned into passion when I started thinking that being a part of music will give me more joy. In order to learn music, I defied my parents. I did not have a music system but my passion to learn instruments made everything possible. Forgive me, if I sound eccentric….
But for passion, you don’t need big names like a Sachin Tendulkar or a Lance Armstrong to get inspired to strive for passion. Just look around and you will find many people with such attributes.
So, In order to inspire me and my readers I’ve tried to shape my thoughts through a hindi poem titled Jazba.

Jazba (PASSION)

Hasti banti Jayegi, kaside gadhe jayenge,
Ho agar jazba to sitaron ke aage hum jahan banayenge.

Ummid ki udaan jub haqiqat se takrayegi, zaroor dagmagayegi,
Gar sachcha ho jazba to haqiqat bhi badalti nazar aayegi.

Kar irada kar koshish, per koshish ki intehan badi mushkil,
Mana koshish hai mushkil, per gar ho jazbe ki chah muqammil
Koshish-irade ki jugalbandi ho tamil.

Waqt gujarta, daur badalta, badalte daur ke saath insaan badalta,
Badalte rishte, badalti fitrat or badal jati taqdeer.

Futi taqdeer ya chamki taqdeer, na jane kya kahti haath ki laqeer,
Kar lo unchi jazba-ae-taqreer, badal jayegi khwabon ki tabeer …

PS:- I've written both in Hindi and English dialects as some of my friends can speak Hindi but can't read or write it..

Some meanings for the convenience of readers:
Taqreer- to speak, speech

Tabeer- fulfillment

Tamil-  to obey

Muqammil- honest

Creative Starvation

Has this ever happened to you? You are listening to your favorite number or sipping coffee while seeing tiny droplets of rains painting the canvas of your glass window and suddenly a solution of the problem which you’ve been mulling over since long, pops into your brain from nowhere. You keep on thinking why this did not come in my mind before. Such rare moments of brilliance actually come from the eternal creative world which can only be tied in ropes of imaginations and innovations.
Creative starvation or the transition from autism to artism, as I would like to put has been slow but deeply heartening and satisfying. I don’t about others but when I am alone, actually I am not. In this phase of solitude, I am surrounded with n number of thoughts, emotions and ideas. Sometimes, I am so deeply intrigued on a subject, I feel like bursting. That’s when I start to channelize my energy into creative things. I write poems, humorous or thought-provoking one-liners, chalk out new rhythm beats or any new tune, think about innovative badminton strokes (Had I thought about in my playing days…… anyways better late than never).. The satisfaction which I get from these things can’t be expressed in words. The deep-thought process helps me in appeasing my creative hunger.

Well, that was me. But different people have different takes on inventiveness or creativity. Creativity is like an uncontrolled horse which has all the daredevilry or audacity in the world to turn things upside down and seeing things above all normal social, political and physical norms. Those who are creative at heart will certainly be honest, emotional and all the love in the world even to forgive their worst enemies (if given a chance)…

Creativity is not something which you can only associate with non main stream fields like advertising, poems, music and more. But using creativity in main-stream society can change boring things in the next happening stuff.

Possibly, without any problem, I can cast off this consciousness of knowing both an artist as well as an autist.

The Dravid Saga n Me……

One of the few sports persons across the globe who earned a great amount of respect both on and off the field, Rahul Dravid is not only an idol for me but also for millions of other fans across the globe. This blog is a tribute to a legendary cricketer or I’ll say a true gentleman and a valued human being who inspired many a sports lovers.
Personally, I play professional badminton and some of you could say that my idol could be a Lin Dan or a Taufik Hidayat. But liking a player or trying his playing style doesn’t make him an idol. An idol is someone to whom you can relate to or deeply admire. Dravid certainly has these traits. Not even a player, even a student or a working professional or even a businessman can learn from Qualities of Dravid.

Making his debut in England and earlier dubbed as a test material, Dravid completely changed or I would say adapted his batting style for One day Internationals. The adaptive quality is a must for every working professional to succeed in his professional life.

I still remember how many times, Dravid donned a role of a wicketkeeper or opened the innings for India in both test matches and ODIs just for team’s sake. This man kept the team’s welfare always ahead of his personal interests. He didn’t like wicket keeping, all through his life he batted as a middle-order batsman but he also opened for India. Such go-getter attitude, high amount of concentration and calmness is something which every student will like to have. Rahul’s sound batting technique and his ability to play long innings won him the title of THE WALL.

The unselfishness and calmness of this man is incredibly impeccable. Personally, I never find Rahul arguing with anyone on the field. I still remember, in stead of replying opponents through my game on court, I tried to defeat them in war of words. But after seeing an interview of the legend- Rahul Dravid where he said,” I will let my bat do the talking rather than having a verbal go with a bowler or a fielder, get out and let my team and country down.” These words indeed had a great influence on me. And the very next year in 2006, I played the finals of state championship and also represented my state in Nationals. During the course of the tournament, I defeated many seasoned and senior players. Because I was talking less, I could easily concentrate on opponent’s weaknesses and win points.

All these things are very personal and there are endless positive effects that the legend Rahul Dravid had on me in different periods in my life. Such great ambassadors of game come rarely in centuries….

MASKED WORLD

The mask o a Naqaab as we call it in Hindi is normally used to cover your face but as the human evolution has progressed, so has progressed the volumes of mask. Everyone in this world is wearing a mask.

As I walk and see things happening around me, I can see a mask of different characters and emotions. An evil-intentioned person wearing the mask of sweet-mouthed guy while a lonely guy wearing a mask of full-of-life attitude.
I have observed an uncountable number of such incidents in my life which I’ve tried to present through a poem.

PS:- I've written both in hindi and English dialects as some of my friends can speak hindi but can't read or write it..

Explaining Eternal Rover- The Musical Way

For me Music is life. I can’t survive without it neither I feel my existence without music. For me, love for music is above everything. I just love singing, writing and every genre related to music like dance and playing instruments. Anytime when I’m feeling down, want to share something important with someone, I look up to my sweetheart MUSIC as I don’t share my deep feelings with anyone in the planet.

I consider myself extremely lucky sometimes as before dying, I learned some instruments to play. Trust me when I say this because it’s the greatest stress buster for me. Whenever I am playing whether a fast western number or a classic seven-matra classical song or ghazal, I feel blessed. I thank Almighty to give me such skills which prove helpful in bringing some smile on anyone’s face or lift someone’s spirits.

I don’t remember how many times, I received accolades from my friends, strangers, mentors or audience. Whenever I play, sing or write few poetic lines in my own company i.e loneliness, I find a unique spiritual calm which is beyond words.

At last, I’ll sum up with…

Music is a sea with eternal depth and vastness.
The deeper you sink, the greater the bliss.

Now I expect readers to understand the reason behind my blog’s name.
