Aadil is a small town guy living in Jaisalmer who really wants to make it big in life. He has excelled in both sports as well as music in his home town. But he does not see a bright future in Jaisalmer as the scope is very limited. So, after his graduation, he decides to come to New Delhi.
After reaching Delhi, he enrolls in a computer course as he does not even know to switch on a computer. A whole year passes on and he does not see his interest in software development. One of his friends, Dheeraj advises him to make his hobby into a career. Since Aadil loves writing, He starts working as a technical writer with an IT company. Meanwhile, he is also preparing for MBA entrances.
Let me tell you about few characteristics of Aadil. A stubborn obnoxious guy who is die-hard unromantic but also has a big heart. He has emotions but believes in always controlling it.

The so-called die-hard unromantic starts getting second thoughts about his always staying-single philosophy. Few office staffs tell him about a girl’s crush on him. Her name is Heena. A girl who is talented and a full-of-life attitude… He starts noticing this girl and observes her very closely. The more he observes, the more fascinated he is getting towards Heena.
On one weekend, he, while enjoying with his friends in a pub discusses the issue with his friends. His friends tell him to ask that girl. In a drunken state, he calls up the girl. He says,”I have a crush on you”. The girl says no to him. Quite shocking, Aadil does not feel hurtful and instead praises the clarity of Heena with which she talked with him. But he certainly regrets calling her.
Meanwhile since he is good at writing, he decides to dedicate a poem to Heena. Irony is that he does not find an apt title for the poem…

कारवां-ए-मंजिल की राह में मील का एक पत्थर आया,
जिसे पाकर दीमाग तो बहुत खुश हुआ, पर दिल का सूनापन न गया ॥
तब ना जाने कहाँ से एक शरारती चेहरे ने एक मासुम मुस्कान के साथ दिल के कोने में एक दस्तक दी,
ज़िन्दगी की राह में प्यार की उम्मीद का एहसास करा गयी ॥
है हमनवा से ये गुजारीश, तू एक छोटा कदम बढा दे।
इस नाचीज़ को प्यार की छोटी ही सही पर एक झलक दिखा दे ॥
माना वक़्त है कम इस दीवाने के पास,
है वादा ना टूटने देगा, ज़ज्बात के कच्चे धागों की ये आस ॥
